Well....Need opinions on 292

Can I get some opinions on what the sale price of a 2014 292 should be? List price of $244k.... Has 22 hrs and is considered a new boat as it is a demo from formula.

I'm sure you've visited their website already but if not, their pricing schedules offer 20% discount on the new boats which would put her around 200k if you ordered a new boat.

How much can the factory deem reasonable to 'write off'? Sorry, don't know but will be watching the thread.

My standard suggestion (if you want the boat) is don't be scared to make a very low offer, the worst they can do is say no. Boat manufacturers get many tire kickers but when you make an offer, they should take it seriously enough to come back with a counter offer and then the negotiation is underway.

Offer them something you're sure they will decline and see what happens.

Some specs would be nice.
Motors?
Drives?
Option packages? (graphics? stereo? electronics?
Upgrades?
Major individual options? (A/C? GPS?)
Sea strainers?
Cover(s) included?
Trailer included?

You've literally given NO details to go on.

I am looking at a 2014 leftover Silverado. How much do you think I should pay?

Buy a 2010 and save yourself 100k.

maybe my question isnt clear...

The boat ORIGINALLY listed for $244k.

I am going to make an offer on it and am looking for what you all think the value is.

For sure the boat is not worth the original list price....maybe never was.

What would you offer?

I thought your question was pretty clear but I'm not qualified to give you an accurate answer.

As a demo from Formula, I assume it is owned by either the factory or one of their dealers. Do they have an asking price or are they just telling you the original MSRP? If they want to sell it, they really should have a current asking price.

If they won't put forward a $$ figure, hit them low (offer 110k) and get it rejected. When they say 'No, too cheap' ask them how much. If they don't want to play ball then look elsewhere.

Nice boats, good luck!
