Is anyone by chance using a Venture aluminum trailer for a 242LS? I have deal pending n a used Venture trailer. Model VATB 8025. 8000lb capacity. Overkill for this boat but the price is right. The trailer is designed for a boat with a measurement from drain plug to bow eye of 24 to 26ft. Overall lenght of the trailer is 30ft 6 in. So seems kind of long. Interested in your thoughts.

Overall you should be ok, may have to "Tweak" it, but a 242 is 24'2 long, almost 26 with the platform

Check with Smokin Gun he just bought a brand new trailer to haul get this engines on now he's selling the trailer never had a boat on it . I think it might fit

I got a brand new VATB 5225 last year which says its for 21-22ft boats and mine fits perfect on it! That trailer may be overkill but if the price is right go for it. Mine was $3000
