Default refrigerator in 242

Has anyone ever installed a refrigerator in a 242? I took some measurements and some modifications would be required. Just trying to see what has been done before.

Personally, I think the cabin is too small, and the electrical load too much. You'll never get the cooling you'd probably expect (especially compared to an ice chest).

Not saying it can't be done; the question is why go to the trouble?

I am tired of tripping over the cooler especially on over night trips. Plus I have access to refrigerator that is in storage. It's the same one that comes from the factory in the other models that have them. It's just slightly too big to mount on the top of the cabinet.

They draw like 5 amps. I like the fridge because I just turn it on, keeps drinks ice cold without lugging coolers and ice. Maybe modify the existing sink area?

You could make the sink cupboard taller but im not sure on the width. I couldn't imagine trying to cram a fridge in a 242. You will also want to get a battery charger and run shorepower because its likely the fridge will eat your battery overnight.
