Custom 357 for sale
#1
Just listed my 357 for sale. After all the work I hate to let it go but the bridge near my home is not going to be raised as scheduled. Need the five extra inches a different boat will provide. Take a look in classifieds if your interested.

This one? If so, that's a beautiful boat. Have you considered having a windscreen made for it, like the Formula Poker Run editions? Then you could go back to the windshield when logistics allow.
Even at low tide, you can't make it under clearance? Would ballast bags (like wakeboard boats use) be an option? I know my boat sits noticeably lower in the water with full fuel tanks (1000 extra pounds) vs. near empty.

Yes that's my boat. I've considered it but a mold would have to be made since the 382 P/R has different stern quarters. The time frame/cost to change it to race faring, plus it loses its originality, is not worth it. It would take quite a hit in value with such an odd modification. I can get under bridge dusting low tides but it severely limits time I can be out before I have to pass back under bridge. Love the boat for its classic lines and so does everyone I speak to. Best to leave the windscreen.
