just purchased a 2004 formula 400 ss with 500 efi setup. it has swept back bravo 3 drives on the boat. has 3 blade bravo 3 28p props on it. i have seen some with 27p, what is the correct size?

Those were the original props spec'd for the boat that year.

Mine has 26 pitch. Not sure if they have been worked on I just got it Labor Day weekend
