why did some, or most 336 come with 4 deck hatches and mine only has the two rear. 96 336

Every 336 I have seen has 4 hatches. The 1996 formula brochure shows the 336 having 4. The 303 had only 2 hatches.

well my 96 336 has only rear hatches. came with hp500s , hp gimbles, hydraulic steering. pretty much everything they offered then. I agree everyone I have ever seen had 4 hatches. Im going to call Formula to see what they can tell me about the boat.

The forward 2 hatches were an option. Standard equipment was only the 2 rear ones as you have.
