Removing fuel sender 311...

So what's the trick to getting it out? Seats in the way?

Mr Maine 06-06-2016 05:36 PM

I answered this on your other thread. It's the only way to do it unless you want to separate the deck from the hull.

So just remove the bottom part of the back of the back seat and just drill a hole?

Mr Maine 06-06-2016 06:36 PM

Yeah if you use the correct size hole saw its pretty clean and you'll never see it. If you can get your new sender in without drilling the hole you could just bent the old one to get it out which would ruin it

As stated you can remove the old float style sender from the engine room but it destroys it ..... then go with the new style single tube and I think we got in from the engine room ......m
