It still amazes me how quickly I got comfortable going 80+ after owning a 21'r that only went 50. I'd feel safe in my 382 at a 100+. It's the most solid go fast boat I've ever been in. Now that premium is less then 2.50 we go fast a lot more often.

I had a 272SR1 with twin Whippled 454s with Dart CNC'd heads, custom cams Stainless Marine Gen3 exhaust and Imco shorties that gps's at a 101, I've had many boats but that one was probably the most fun of all.

Not that heavy really, I am curious to see results, we saw 80 on GPS with a TRS 311 with around 600 a side, wonder if the hull will limit speed or not, I know the deep drives do, I predict 84 mph

Have you run it yet? How is the setup? Please post videos or pictures, we're all curious, it's a nice project. Have fun, and be safe over 80mph!

Hey Justin, nice to hear from ya, We have had it in the water, only up to 4500rpm, not propped right yet, throwing another set on this weekend. Sorting out little "bugs"....EVERYTHING is new but the paint! literally! Upholstery came out sweet! Those Drives are sweet too! Transmissions shift smooth as can be, but I heard Hueber went out of Business?? Full Hydraulic steering is nice, glad ya talked me into adding that! Forgot to mention (this will get some of ya going)
I have always been a fan of MSD products (were a Sponsor in my Funny Car days)....Have read SO SO much BAD on hear about their Marine stuff...yep...lost a Box after 4 hours...****!

yep, far from the "slickest" hull on the lake! Like the ole girl though!
