Sounds like your motors are not building up enough torque at the lower RPM's. Raising your X may help out with that. I assumed like a lot of the other posts indicate that you were blowing out the props. If the RPM's and speed are building slowly then you clearly are not blowing out the props. You need to get the RPM's up into the power band of your motors to get up on plane faster. Some cavitation is good at the slower speeds. Have you ever seen the pipes that they put on #6 drives? That is what those are for. You need to get some air around that prop. Raise the X may help but could hurt handling then again it may help. Some props will vent out in front of the blades to help (you see this a lot with outboard boats).

I'll probably put on ventilator in winter.Like the have on the six dive but not permanent if it not work. I think its must be very close to the propeller.

Are you using some tab?, that should help and I assume you have K planes.

Curious, how fast is the boat? As you probably know, any large single engine boat isn't going to just pop up on plane.

as I always say... I'll try anything twice
P5X propeller 28pitch was great , the boat came up in the plane much easier ... The lapped out 5500 rpm 86 mph . I'll test a P5X 30pitch next week . It should come up with a 30pitch 5 blade propeller for the boat came up much easier with five blade than before? Should be able to approach 90 mph ?

You could probably drill a vent hole or two.

cool boat for sure. The race boats are always so different from their pleasure counterparts.
