Default (Fastech) 292 vs 312 sizing information

I am trying to get more information about the boats 292 vs 312. I would like to know if the driving area (cockpit) is the same size as the 292 when comparing to the 312. Additionally, I am assuming the larger area maybe the engine compartment and cabin area, can someone please confirm?.

Any other information would be greatly appreciated. Also, is the extra weight gained by the bigger motors in the 312. I believe it is a (1000 lbs.) increase.

Thanks

I don't know the dimensions but when I owned a 312 years ago I was rafted next to a 292 and got inside it......it seemed alot smaller to me! The 350/292 was about 4-5 mph slower than my 502/312.
