Boatnt: I guess I see this different. There have been a number of known failures in the 99 and other model years. There are our two boats and also issues with race boats and a few others that I have heard from as I went through all this. So the way I am looking at this if you want a 99 there are the ones that had this repair and then ones that have not and are likely going to need it. Who knows when or if Formula has addressed this issue in manufacturing. As a buyer knowing the repair was not only done but done correctly and documented would sure put me at ease instead of wondering if the boat you are about to drop many thousands of dollars on needs a 20K repair.

The issue on Formula boats around that time is not going away. It will gradually get more widely known and I suspect there are many more cases out there that need attention. There's probably some out there that have had a patch up repair and may be on the market now with no way of telling what lies beneath the surface.

Your two boats are just two cases we know about and have been fixed properly.

Buyers are like wives..... Always tell them freely and frankly, anything they could easily find out some other way!

I figured that had to be where he had been.

FOONJ towed back from SWFL on the 3rd after spending 11 days boating down there. We had to have passed each other and didn't even know it.
