From an enforcement officers viewpoint, ozarkdevil does it right! I have never seen a quad axle boat trailer. I am impressed.
This is how we move about. Superduty does well. |

Superduty does well.
Enforcement Officer as in DOT  When I was looking to buy this boat I was pretty skeptical about the quad axle trailer, I thought for sure it would turn like crap. It really isn't any different than a tri-axle trailer and it does pull nice. |

How does that dully pull the 400? I'm looking to get into a 400 in the spring and was wondering about towing it... I kind of figured I would need a Kodak / f650 or a sport chassis.... how tall is that on the trailer? What does it weigh?
The gas V-10 dully does fine pulling it. My last boat was a 47 Fountain so weight wise it is no different to me but at 13' 4" tall and 11' wide you really have to pay attention. |
I was concerned it would be too tall, I'm looking for one with a hard top...
The boat probably gets better mileage than that gas v10 does.... |
Yes sir, specialized in commercial vehicle enforcement. I noticed the little things like: flags on projecting loads, "oversize load" markings as required by overlength/overwidth permit authorities.

Before this trip to Utah I studied the oversize load requirements of the states I would be traveling thru and I think I was legal to a "T". I figured pulling a trailer with quad axles would be a unwanted attention getter. :hitfan: |

Ozarkdevil, that's an impressive rig!! Sweet boat. I don't think I ever saw a quad axle before. Very cool!
