Looking through this thread, I haven't seen where you replaced ALL of the fuel filters??? I saw that you rebuilt the carb, but if you're stumbling & backfiring when the secondary's open, you may not be getting enough fuel, as in gunked up filters. Ask me how I know...

This is not a fuel issue. Yes it has 2 new fuel filters. They were put on when I built the carb. This is an ignition issue.
Today it got both of the new 4" bilge blowers installed. The rest of the led courtesy lights. And the other 4 spark plugs. I cleaned all ground wires at the engine, batteries, and terminal where they all tie together. Removed the useless actuator that halfway opens the engine hatch. Neatly tucked away those wires if I ever decide to put that back in.
Has anyone used shocks to hold the hatch up?

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I wish it were a simple carb issue. The wires should be here any day now. We will see if they do the trick. I did find a dirty ground at the rear of the block on the port side.
