I hear ya! We're waiting for a blizzard to roll into Virginia Beach! This place is going to be shutdown for a few days!

No fun at all. I'm going to toss a heater in the bilge tonight. It's supposed to get in the 20s

These should stop reversion.

That's a ton more than I want to spend considering the ones I have hardly any time on them. If reversion is my problem I'll try the higher idle and see how it does.

Give IMCO a call on what you can do with the risers to help out with reversion.

You might be able to weld some aluminum tubing to the inside of the riser to extend the point where water mixes.

Good idea. It didn't do this the first time I ran it in the water. Or any of the times I've ran it on the hose until just recently when i have been playing with the cap, rotor, wires, plugs, and timing module. I'll see how it does once it's actually firing correctly. Hopefully that can be some time this week.

Sorry for the delay guys. I have been on the phone with Mr gary (GLENAMY 242SS) a few times in the last few weeks. I sold the 32' sea ray and took it to the guy last Saturday, then went hog hunting on the river in the aluminum boat in 27° weather. 2 days later it was 70°+. I got back to fooling with this boat. I called the new owner of the sea ray and asked if he wanted to sell me the gnition modules. I rode out and grabbed both of them. I had a v8 24 they were v8 22. After talking with Mr Gary he said just bump initial timing up and set all in at 32. Did just that and ran it today (75°) it did wonderful. Didn't gps a wot run but it now cruises 42 mph at 3900 rpm which is just before secondarys open.

On a side note, we had 3 allisons grenade today. All friends of mine. I drug one back to the launch. He is actually one of the local marine police/alabama state troopers. Good to have on your side lol.

What do you mean grenade? To me that means blow an engine, that thing looks sunk.

Glad you got your engine running right

Allison #1 got a gear case while running high 90s. Lucky he didn't blow out and get injured. Allison #2 in the picture was cruising along mid 50s when the power head decided to lock up. Not sunk, just how it sits with no one in it. Allison #3 slung a rod when the happy gas solenoid appeared to have stuck open.

I have ran a hydrostream with all the allison guys for years and they liked to give me jokes about its lack of handling under 60mph. They had no jokes on the formula and have now started calling the it tow mater lol...
