Has anyone replaced the tube TV with a flat screen in the cabin? If so how did you mount it? trying to do mine but having a hard time find a mount that will work or any ideas that would work and be sturdy.

The newer ones are real light. If you are running full hdmi input from a player i prefer the straight monitors ,they are super light and still avail in a square size online. Use the foot mount with a rear brace in its own small box where the orig was, with hdmi you can go wireless and use the monitor in galley or foward bedroom , and just store it when underway also

I installed an upright/vertical brace (2X4) inside the old cabinet of my 419. Then mounted a wall mount arm that can move and pivot for the flat screen we put in the boat. Currently it is a 19 inch but the bracket I bought is good for much larger because I wanted rigid support. It is working very well in rough water and poker runs and I plan to go bigger on the TV size.
