Thanks. Also, can you get the fabric from Formula still for a 1994?

Better sit down when you ask. I was quoted $6000 for a 1998 353 on the engine hatch. Just the fabric. It would have been all white since they didn't have the colors anymore. Doesn't hurt to ask. They are great to deal with. Good luck.

Is that what Formula quoted you or a upholstery shop? I know Formula's white is different than what else is out there. A local shop quoted me $500 including fabric (the hatch was already re-done, however, it was done in solid yellow.....).

That is what formula quoted me. I would have had to install it. That was the whole engine hatch. For the headrests the wanted $600. I ended up going local and ordered the fabric from Bristol Upholstery on ebay. They say it is the same material formula uses. It matched.

The $6k must be for the whole back seat and hatch. I am ordering skins from them, from what I see it's $6 k for all.

The vinyl is $3.50/ sq ft

Eric,

You can get XT Innovations to do that work for a better cost then buying material directly from Formula...you've seen my interior work...frankly I think you're pissing money away buying from Formula......IMO

Formula is not in the business of retail, they are a manufacturer. They are however probably the best in the business at providing support for their brand, vintage or new. So you can expect there to be a mark up buying directly through them. It was less than a $1000 for a new skin from them for my sunpad on my 2002 292. I of course had to remove the old and install the new, but believe me when I say Formula makes it easy for you. Every notch and marker in the new skin lined up with the marks on the old foam and panel. I was shocked at how smooth the install went. Could I have paid less somewhere else, yes, but it could also have been twice the headache. There will be no surprises going through Formula, you know that you'll get the same quality out that was put in.
