I did talk to Formula and they are saying my boat was never cleared and that it was a single stage? I find that very odd but who knows. I guess for now it will be flake off what I can and deal with it once I get all the mechanicals and structural issues addressed.

It depends on the year, we use the word "Imron" which was a single stage paint and clear mixed together. However, we now use an Imron clear over top of a base coat.

send Bryan your HID,he will tell you how your boss was shipped. Formula can just about give you the shade of stainless of each screw on the boat - lol. They have, by far, the most detailed records of their boats than any other manufacturer out there - Awesome!

I'm just familiar with the old school Dupont Imron that was single stage that we painted car and motorcycle trailers with back in the day. Stuff was nasty!

Maybe call Mitcher T and see what he says ?? He deals with every brand of boat to do repairs or repaints. We all know how good he is
