My buddy and I are replacing the TRS drives with Bravos in his 89 357. Anyone know where to get layout dimensions and templates to properly place the new holes? Thanks

I bet if you call Formula you will be able to get it all. You can probably also take the prop shaft height of the TRS and go about 1" or so higher and do the math backwards from there. You are going to have to re mount and align everything anyhow so put it what ever heigh you think is best. Leaving it deeper is going to help with drive life, higher can be faster but you don't want to go so high that it won't get out of the hole!

I replaced a kamma setup in a 357 with standoff boxes and bravo 1's. The standoff box covered the relatively small kamma hole and believe it or not my transom was not rotted (1986 357). The did install the bravo in the 1991 and 1992 357's so Formula will provide you with the "x" dimension. Remember, these are conservative on Formula's part. I raised my 3" vs. Formula recommendation as I was using the 12" standoff of the IMCO standoff box. The boat ran fantastic with the bravo/IMCO combo I installed. Good Luck.
