Went for a quick rip down the Choptank on Sunday morning after putting 130 Gallons of fresh juice in her. Everything that was repaired on the drives held together and the engines sounded smooth. Brought her up to 71 MPH @ 4900 RPM and loved every minute of it. Couple minor things left to button up this week and then I am officially ready. Tig welding the bolster seat leg, LED install, lettering, and registration is on the list for this week.

talked to my storage "landlord" early this week and my "eviction date" is Easter weekend, so i'm pulling it home next week. i need to pull the gimbal ring out and send it to J-R Marine for repair, then reassemble with new gimbal bearing and bellows and it should be water ready.

Nice looking carpet.
This will make some cringe, I removed mine some years ago because my dogs go swimming. When they come up the ladder, water goes every where. This way at the end of the day we just hose it down.

Bought it from Matworks.com. They have a template for a 272 and I copied the bird and word from that template. There is a picture of it on their site. They now have a template for a 242 also! It is good quality. With shipping it was $450.
