Is your Formula ready?
Seeing whom else has their Formula ready to splash. We have completed all of our winter upgrades and will be splashing the Fastech in this coming weekend. Can't wait.... It's been a long winter and spent way more money again...:noevil:

Keeping my fingers crossed that mine will be ready. Hoping to pick it up Friday.
|
Waiting for my injectors to return, then haul the boat over to have the bottom paint removed. Then it comes back and I apply VC Performance epoxy. So hope in another two weeks it will be all done.
|
Sea Trials scheduled for early next week.

Awesome run. Can't wait till we can get up that way to run on Erie again. Good times at Kelley's and PIB. I still have a few things to do for the season. Pull the drives, install new seat skins, install new Garmin and transducer. |
What can I say? Mine wasn't mine till November and it has yet to be winterized. Down here we keep em ready. Lol

Is there a dislike button? Major thumbs down. I hate it for yall northern brothers. I don't know how you make it through all that snow every year.
|
I'm locked to my desk until April 18th :(
Hope to spend the last couple weeks of April cleaning her up and doing a few projects.Plan is to splash her the second weekend in May (we have an out of state wedding to go to the first weekend). |
Mr. Maine it is crazy up there! Still riding snowmobiles! Mine is still a LONG LONG LONG way off from being ready. Work has kept me from being able to work on it at all. We are looking to hire some people so hopefully I can get back on it soon. I have an interview tonight at 5 and may spend some time on it after that to see if I can get the bulkhead ready to be bolted in.

Went for a quick rip down the Choptank on Sunday morning after putting 130 Gallons of fresh juice in her. Everything that was repaired on the drives held together and the engines sounded smooth. Brought her up to 71 MPH @ 4900 RPM and loved every minute of it. Couple minor things left to button up this week and then I am officially ready. Tig welding the bolster seat leg, LED install, lettering, and registration is on the list for this week.

Getting there. Just received my new cockpit carpet today!

nice, John! the family and i are going to plan on an LSC weekend this year, i'll have to see if you're around, would love to see the successor to the blue boat.
|
Nice looking carpet.
This will make some cringe, I removed mine some years ago because my dogs go swimming. When they come up the ladder, water goes every where. This way at the end of the day we just hose it down. |

Bought it from Matworks.com. They have a template for a 272 and I copied the bird and word from that template. There is a picture of it on their site. They now have a template for a 242 also! It is good quality. With shipping it was $450.

Been ready since last year!!! :( Conjugal storage visit last weekend. LOL
I haven't seen it in a year and it wasn't plugged in. Amazingly, there was batery power, pumped up the fuel pressure, and did a quick key turn and BOOM it went Vroooooom for 2 seconds. I have to put it on a hose, add some new gas, and get this thing in the water. |

I was really hoping it was an oil filter issue. That sucks.
The season's not even here yet really... lots of time left to get her going! |
