Default CMI Headers. what to do with the hatch lift?

I have a 353 Fastech with 502'S. I replaced the factory exhaust with new CMI headers. Know the actuator will not go between the engines any more. Moved it just in front of them but It barley enough to work on them. any suggestions?

Push/pull pin instead of nuts and bolts. Just move it out of the way when you need to.

I would be more worried about the location of your exhaust holes in the transom. . If a 353 is anything like a 271 fastech the standard bravo tails will not line up with the exhaust holes. Jeff wurl

On the engines side every thing lines up perfect. When I go to lower the hatch the arm used to go in-between the engines. With the new headers that is a no go.
