Default component tweeter install on dash; anyone?

hey guys, I'm looking to get started on the stereo in the boat, and one thing i've taken away from previous boats is the value of having the tweeters up higher (when running as well as when you're in the water off the back of the boat while tied up). has anyone cleanly mounted tweeters up on the dashboard/under the windshield? i'm thinking pods at this point, but i want them to be as low-profile, inconspicuous, and OE-looking as possible.

My old 292sr1 had a component system in it. The tweeters were very heavy and about 2 or 3 inches in diameter IIRC. they were NOT mounted with screws, but tucked very close to the windshield with each wire going along the windshield frame (almost un-noticeable). They didn't move around. Maybe they were velcro mounted or something. I just don't remember, except they were not screwed and didn't move around and sounded great!

Latest Flame had JL Audio component speakers at driver and passenger possitions. It worked very well.

The previous owner of my boat figured out how to install them everywhere.
