Default 99 330SS docking lites

Hello all. I am trying to get a handle on some crazy pre-existing docking lite wiring. Is there one switch for both lites, or 2 switches? I'm also replacing the 2" 50w halogens with 75w led's. I'll let you know how that works out.

On my 2002 330SS there is one switch that controls both lights.

Thank you very much. Somebody added underwater lites, spliced into the docking lites, and i am trying to straighten it out. Thank you, again. Keith

Thanks again for the info. I hate when folks cut and splice wires, esp with no apparent reason. With wire nuts to boot! Anyway, I got them working, and replaced the docking and 2 underwater lites also, with plug in 2" led's from a company called superbrite led. They have had led replacement bulbs for every bulb on the boat. The origional bulb was a 50w halogen, and superbright had a plug in 75w led replacement. Much cooler running, and noticeably brighter. Thanks again

LEDs are the way to go! I've done cockpit and cabin lights but not the docking lights. What LED bulb did you use for them?

MR 16 from Superbrite Led. They are 2". The orig are 50w halogen. Superbrite MR16 replacements are 70w. The only prob I had was the bulb is mounted with a ring held in by 3 springs (rusted and broken). Automotive air conditioning hose quick disconnect "garter springs" make pretty good donors. PIA, but doable with small needle nose pliers and a lot of patience. I changed every bulb on the boat, except for instrument lites with leds from superbrite. I have used other suppliers prior, with mixed results, but these guys have everything. Pretty cheap also and never a failure

Thanks. I might have to give them a try for docking lights. Gotta find the ambition first, though!
