Default My '91 311SR1

The guy who bought my '91 311 a few years ago has moved up to a larger boat for going slower and sleeping more people.
The boat's still sweet, and very available.
I've got no dog in this hunt, but I still love that boat and want to see her get a new family who treats her right.
Dunno if he plans to put her in the Classifieds here or not - I don't even know if he's an OSO member. Great guy, though.
Has kept me updated with regular photos and such. He was a great boat owner for her.
PM me and I'll put you in touch with him.

I dunno if I start sending specifics if I will get in trouble for not linking it to the Classifieds. I saw that we aren't supposed to try to sell things without it already being in the classifieds.
But I'm not selling it. It's not mine anymore, so I suppose we can discuss the boat - right?

Me and my dad purchased it new here in TN.
I believe the Imron pattern was called "Laser".
I attached a couple of pics, hope they come thru ok.

502 Mags, 1.36 Bravo Ones (updated to '93-on cone clutches), Mirage props. K Planes, Drive Showers, Silent Thunder, Pro Mariner Flyback Charger, Battery Disconnect Switches, Dual Isolators, Freshwater system, Porta Potty, VHF, McLeod hydraulic drop-out bolsters, updated stereo w dash remote. Garmin GPS. Snap In cockpit carpet. Halon fire system. AC/DC Fridge. Snap-on cockpit cover. I believe he told me it had 650 hrs on her now. While he owned it, the Gimbal Bearings and drive couplers were replaced. Motors all stock, but kept maintained - It had new fuel pumps and raw water pumps on it when I sold it, since then he has replaced the T-stat check balls (to the exhaust risers) and regular maintenance. Boat runs 72 ish with light fuel load.

mcollinstn,

Great package, and yes "Laser" is correct. I had a 91' 292 setup the exact same, Laser graphics, 502's from the factory, 1:36 Bravos (only 5 292's made in 91 with 502's and 1:36's), and yes would hit low-mid 70's with that setup, 2 people, med fuel. Saw it yesterday in the classifieds, wish I had some spare $$ sitting around, it would be on its way to the Chesapeake.

Received the info from Formula about 10 years ago when I was inquiring about some spare parts, provided VIN and they provided the basic info.

Thanks Mike. My apologies, I said 650 on the clock, it's actually 618.
