Here's another Formula 382 with the Arneson #7M Kits. The boat has a pair of 540's naturally aspirated built by ATECO engines..

Should be in the water this week for a sea trial.

Did the motors remain in the original position?

From what they have told me the engines are basically, on this particular boat, in the same place as they were before. The engine just have about 2-3 degrees upwards in the front.

Typically the engines go in the same relative location as they were, in cases where the boat has a high X dimension the engines will actually install a bit lower with the Arnesons.

First sea trial yesterday, ran it up to 88 mph with a lot of rpm and power left.

Bruce's comments " the acceleration will set you in your seat, it drives easier around the docks, it's awesome. It's everything you said it would be and more, I'm really impressed with this setup "

This boat with theses naturally aspirated engines should hit mid 90's. Posted a video on FB thatI cannot post here and the engines are Merc 525's thst have been modified by ATECO.

Hey Rik,
What impact would the installation of Arnesons have on a F-34 PC with Merc 7.4's in it? The engines are currently in need of a rebuild so will either rebuild or repower.
Thanks!

Looks good.
Estimated HP & prop size / rake details please.

PS: Rick - hope to have the boat in the water later this year. Too many work commitments - but getting there.
