iso 271 fastech
My wife's cousin is looking to upgrade to a 271 fastech black motor year 2000 or newer and under 40k. He is keeping an eye on most websites, putting this on here because had good luck finding my father in laws 353 a couple weeks ago. thanks for any help.

I have a 2000 271 I have been thinking about selling . 713 hp Holley efi motor built by mer performance marine cost 25k . Built Bravo xr drive, imco full hydraulic steering, mercury 280 tabs with pop-up indicators . Monster livorsi gps gauges , livorsi billet shifter, all pop up cleats . Motor has 9 hours on it. Every other part was installed less than 25 hours ago. Boat was built with all brand new parts. No used junk. Boat is mint. Gel coat shines like new. Myco trailer. Boat runs 85 gps. 80 plus mph with 5 passengers and 100 gallons fuel on board no problem. No tire kickers. I don't need to sell it but will. 44k Jeff wurl

Not knocking engine builder at all. Generally high hp boat motors require more in depth maintenance than the proven 502mpi and 496 ho. That's what he is looking for and top speed isn't a big deal for him. Looking into getting a bigger boat to handle chop better than their open bow Rinker. Me on the other hand there isn't anything like big horsepower!
