Not trying to be a downer. But it is a 30 year old boat. Hopefully I'm wrong and it just needs some love.

Not a problem I ended up getting a mint 87 242 LS

Well done! The 242 has the better hull. 24 degrees vs. 22. Enjoy!

You'll enjoy a 242 over the 223. That thing is very nice! I am jealous.

I wanted a 242 all along just couldn't find one this one just happened to fall in my lap never thought I could buy this one. On a whim gave the seller a call and it all worked out still cant believe how nice this 30 year old boat is.

Nice looking boat! Someone cared a lot about it. Congrats. I remember the feeling you have right now. I stood in the driveway looking at mine and my wife thought I was loosing it. Keep the photos coming, she's a looker.

Agreed! In the cold of December I spent every day playing with mine in the driveway tinkering with little stuff. Now for the last week I've spent every day working on getting the new engine running. They can be a little fussy but sure are fun when you get them out. That one is a jewel! I hope you have a shop to store it out of the elements.
