Default Coolers under the bolsters on 311s...

So I just bought some igloo Sportsman 20s...basically the same cooler as a yeti roadie or a rtic 20. I'm going to install them under the front bolsters on my 311. Has anyone done this? You have any pictures? How do you mount the coolers to keep them from sliding around? Will it interfere with having the bolster bottom hanging down?

Thanks

I have a k2 25qt and i just set it under the bolster. You cannot drop the bolster with it under there. When im in bigger water and need to use the bolsters i will move it behind. I dont have any issues with it moving around even when playing on 4 footers and jumping.

My boat is covered up for the week, but I'll try to get some pics of my Yeti next weekend. I do not have mine installed; it sits under the passenger bolster just aft of the middle of the seat. I can drop the bolster with it like that. It's out of the way, and stays put unless I'm in big water (3-4's, ocean swells). The rubber on the bottom of the Yeti is great! If I'm headed out for big water running, I move the cooler to the cabin.

I just wrap a cam buckle strap around the cooler, through the handles and then hook it to the legs of the bolsters.

As you can see in the pics, the cooler is under the farthest protrusion of the bolster (handle and back), and that this is with the bolster bottom all the way down. The cooler generally stays put due to its weight and the rubber feet on the bottom.

I'd look into the Igloo Sportsman 20. Just bought 2 of them at Sams for $98 a piece vs the $300+ for a Yeti if the same size. They are almost the same exact size and hold the same amount inside. They fit perfect under the seat...it will be a lot easier with the coolers under the seats then going in and out of the cuddy...I hope..
