Hey guys and gals, first off, Merry Christmas!!!
So back in October i made the jump for a 1985 Wellcraft Nova II 26 with twin 350's (rotted stringers and transom) to a beautiful 2002 Formula 292 Fastech with twin 350 mags. I absolutely love the boat, but i'm a Hot Rodder and cant leave anything stock. So far I've been thinking about Exhaust systems (i hate stock exhaust in cars AND boats). What would you guys recommend? I'm trying to stay within a total range of 4k or less. Thanks!!

Stainless Marine is your cheapest upgrade, but will definitely have you in the $4k range for 2 engine setups, as MOSES said. I have 377's with stock manifolds and Corsa Q&Q2, had to decide between adding Stainless Marine manifolds or a new Corsa Capt's Call exhaust setup and went with the switchable exhaust. I knew I wouldn't see any performance gains from either and I much preferred the option of switching the exhaust from quiet (for the wifey) to the obnoxiously loud. Cost around $2500, did the install myself this fall, cheaper and IMO more fun.
Flush the engines with Salt Away after each use in the ocean and your stock manifolds will be fine.

Your only benefit will really be from the weight savings from iron to aluminum / stainless. That will make a difference on the ass heavy 292.
I am waiting for these small blocks to die and swap in LS3's and dry to the tip exhaust. But that may never happen. I have heard that they never die.
