292 mold change and Trim Tabs...
Does anyone know the years Formula changed the molds to support the 2013, 292 Fastech? The 2000 on up look like the same mold...
Which brings me to my next point. Is anyone using a trim tab other than the stock Barnett ST-12, 12"X12"? I want to change mine out, but there is little room.
All the instructions I have read say not to put the tabs over the chine, which Formula did with the my Barnett's
Your make, model and pictures (if able) of your tabs would be appreciated.
I made a pattern of the 280 K's with the help of a member here. I'll check that out when I get to the boat.
Thank you for your time,
Dave

Heavy Duty Performance Trim Tabs
Here is a link of the 18x14 Heavy duty tabs, Dual Ram that I had installed on my 2002 292 with 377s.
Also used the swith/indicators, What a BIG difference that made planeing out and running the slop at LOTO
Its been 3 seasons and no problems .

Boz251, Glad you're having success with the Heavy Duty tabs. If I was able to swap out the Barnett bottom plates for the longer ones, I would. Lenco puts out a great product, but my preference is Hydraulic over Electric. But who knows. Ideas are still stirring in the pot. Thanks for your time
