looking at getting the switchable silent choice that just quiets the exhaust at idle or low RPM. I have thru hull exhaust with silent thunder removed, thought it be nice to flip a switch and quiet it down.
problem is I don’t see where the sell it. Corsa says they don’t make it any more, any other companies make this?

I have two sets of the external slip on mufflers that close when desired. They use an air pump to close the flap. I have everything needed for complete system. This way no y-pipe needed and easy to install with the same results. Let me know if you’re interested.

When I last talked to Formula and Mercury about this, Silent Choice was no longer being offered as an option (on the 353 at least) and the stated reason was reversion risk. Had mine for 18 years with no reversion damage noted (yet).

I'm considering buying a 1995 Fountain Sportfish with Silent Choice. Seems quieter at idle but not so much running. I've owned an Albemarle 24 and a Carolina Classic 28 with exhaust through the out drive. They were much quieter at idle and running. Why isn't the Fountain quieter with exhaust going thru the out drive?
