Well I went up on Wednesday to check it out. Ended up purchasing the 272. Will be running back up with some trailer tires and bringing it home tomorrow morning. Only issue I found was about an inch of standing water under the step In the cabin. But the rest of the bilge is bone dry. Also missing the port bolster seat bottom cushion. But like I said, For the price I’m taking it. Needs some minor cleaning because it has sat but otherwise should be a fun project. I’ll post pics when I get more posts. |
We need pics!! Congrats

Congrats. Good choice. She’ll be a wave crusher out on that bay. |
So I finally got up and towed the boat home last night. Good to have it home. Gonna have some pics as soon as I reach 10 posts. Hopping to get a better idea on what route I’m going with the motors here in the next few days. |
Might have to change this thread over to a build/Reston thread if anyone is interested. |
Start a new thread for it. You'll be glad you did later on.

I cant say the difference of ride in 272 vs 242. I can say that with 4 adults in mine weekend before last we were hitting 8 footers and having a blast. Smashing 4-6s with the tabs down riding smooth. Yall must have some rough bays. We were in Pensacola bay going to the blue Angel's air show and there were literally thousands of boats for traffic.
