Default Coming back to the Formula family

well after 7 years of the cruiser life and getting into project boats just to fill the speed itch, we are officially going back to one boat and coming back to the Formula family!
Will be finalizing the purchase next week on a super clean low hour 2005 353 with stock 525’s, Bravo XR’s on extension boxes.
My question to you guys that have this same set up with the extension boxes is where is it happy spot when running as far as trim and tabs.
we had a 292 for many years, then a warlock cat and a 29 fountain so performance boats aren’t new to me but never had one with boxes and just looking to see if there is any quirks I need to know about or like I said where’s it’s happy place when running.
Any info would be great let appreciated

Had an 05 353 525 ITS boat, run the drives just past neutral with labbed 28 Maximus. 82-84 mph, tabs all the way up.

Pretty sure Badmonkey is running boxes. Give him a shout, his boat is For Sale too and very nice!

I see you are in Ga. There is a great river run in Jax. Fl. that would be a great place for you to run your new bird. It’s always at the beginning of June and a fun start to summer.

Yeah I know about that and as long as everything is good when we get it home and play a little here, its first run will be Tickfaw in May.
