Default Formula 242 w/-2 lower anybody done it

Curious if anybody has tried a shortie lower on their 242 and what was the result?
I guess if you raised the X by 2" it would se similar results. Really thinking of doing this with a -2 but have no idea of what to expect as an outcome. If you have done it or know of someone that has I would like to hear about the results.
Thank you in advance for the responses.

I think I’d want hydraulic steering on the boat before changing it. At speeds where it would be beneficial, the boat is already really loose. Mine was anyway.

Good question. I think it will deff help out in the speed dept. Also there might be diff x dimensions for original bravo equiped boats compared to 86 87 alpha converted boats. Maybe someone knows the answer. I plan on a -3 sc on a its box for mine.

I am really surprised nobody has tried this, especially as this was a factory race bottom (I believe). Curious if it would help top speed and what it would do to mid range and final how would it effect .on planning. Somebody has had to try this. I sure would like to borrow one for a weekend.
