Well I`m looking for a tach for my 87 242, I have checked the connections and pulled the dash panel. the tach will only go up to 1800rpm and stop, works fine at idle. So if any anybody has one they want to sell let me know.

what size, brand, color?

I believe it was 3' i think I`ll have to measure ,vdo, black.

I believe he has the older VDO square bezel "aircraft looking" tach standard on the older formulas.

I'll look tonight to see if I have an old one laying around. I think I might have gotten rid of these when we moved, but can't hurt to look.

Slick Stinger probably has a million of them. Always taking apart older boats, many with multiple engines(ie: two sets of gauges per boat)
