Having fun in the Oslo Fjord
Dear Formula Boats
Remove your DNA seems like a bad idea, the whole company are build up around the Sr and Fastech line.
Now Formula are selling a lot of sportscruiser and crossover boats, and I am happy for them, not my cup of tea dough.
The market is not in favour for V bottom performance boats at the moment, but Outerlimits Cigarette and some other brands are still selling why? because they want to, and has put a lott of investments in upgrade and development.
Formula has neglected this type of boats completely the last 10 years. Not anything new since 2001 or 2002 when they launched the fantastic and beautiful 292 Fastech.. You can not sell this kind of boats only by changing the graphics and paint…. So I am not surprised that it ended like this, only sad an end to the coolest boat line ever made…
They will always be classics and beautiful boats
Only thing to hope for now, is an relaunching of a performance V bottom line from Formula in 2025 he he :-) :-)
I will soon enjoy another summer in my Formula 271
Have a fantastic weekend folks
Regards from Norway

eh surprised it's taken this long, they've been sitting with their feet up for way too long. Most of their lineup of PC's, Sunsports and Fastechs are all relics at this point. I'll give them some credit, they've at least realized they missed the boat (pun intended) on the center console craze and they're going to try something different....question is will it work. that 43 and 40 with the outboards are the first real new designs in probably what 15+years? but they're kind of late to the outboard game. at this point I sadly wonder if Formula will survive the next downturn in the economy.

I've seen them go up in value since I bought mine 2 years ago. Even the dealer I bought it from said I could sell it for what I paid easily in the next couple years. Formulas are a hot ticket up here around Lake Michigan.
