Default captain's call exhaust on 280SS

Does anyone have captain's call exhaust on a twin engine 280SS? I'm asking because I would like to see a picture of it to see how it's layed out.

I've seen it on some of the other SunSports but the beams are wider and there's more area, it just seems like there's isn't much room with both drives and the extensions supporting the swim platform.

I did see it on a 260SS and they put the pipes thru the platform extensions. I think I would prefer it straight out the back instead of using elbows. On the bigger SunSports it straight out the back.

I got the spec's from Formula, but the wife says NO PIPES until she gets a new 1 carat diamond.

That's some expensive pipes.

Default 1 CARROT

My wife and I are currently restoring a 1979 Formula 302 SE. In the past I have had a 19' Tahiti with a 455 OLDS. and a 95MPH Hallet flatbottom with a 427 Chevy. Our most recent project has been a 1966 Chevy El Camino, 454......10.88 @123Mph................... My point is I guess.......ONE CARROT IS PRETTY CHEAP IN COMPARRISON.....................

Just because I don't know ..What do you want to gain with the Captains Call? Noise?
My only suggestion is go to CORSA on line and see what is available.
I don't think you will gain much other than your outdrives running cooler. Performance wise, for the $ spent I have never seen much improvement......unless the motor is "Built" an you are trying to squeek that last 1-2mph.

There........... that will get some discussion going!!

If you expect anything else except more noise , I think you will be disappointed . I put them on my last boat with a stock 460 Ford. I did that because I was tired of the noise and already got one ticket. I already had thru hulls. It made no difference in top speed. Yanked out the 460 ...put in a 625 hp 540 the following year and that did make a slight difference. Like Opie said , you really need BIG cubes and HP to see an improvement other than noise

I had heard it really doesn't do much for power, but I hadn't thought about keeping the drives cooler. I just want the noise.

Thanks for the thoughts
