Roscoe, no worries dude.
I’m an O/B guy through and through but......,a big block w/a bunch of compression, a bunch of cam, and a good exhaust.... , I could sit behind it in a lawn chair w/a cooler and listen for hrs.
Kelly, come and get it 😎
Engineered the Bimini today.
Mounts are on slides so covers/protects cabin door, helm, seats at night (dew/rain) and slid aft, gives shade to bench seat and lounge during day.
Will stow forward of windshield or at platform.
Had to cut it apart to get it right.

You want it as is, or done?
Ifffffffffffffffffff the powerheads on the current motors are solid, I’d expect high 70’s - maybe 80.
Wait till I put the pad on it, 80 for sure.
Maybe low 80’s.
Ive got enough junk to build two hot rod 3.3 liter, 300+ HP p.heads.
W/them dialed, I’d expect mid 80’s.
At least 😉
PS, four sets of wheels on the garage wall, and two more LH wheels would make six pair.
Let me fill out the check, you can have them all and I’ll help you test 😉

I would add:
many of the 24’s were twin small blocks.
My motors and bracket would save 600 lbs from same boat w/twin small blocks!
Those cool platforms on those boats (they are gorgeous) are bolt on.
A good glass guy could turn it into a twin O/B bracket and it would look factory.
My 25’ Checkmate is way smaller, lighter and narrower than a 242 So effect would be way less on that hull.
Many people poo poo projects just because they’ve never seen it done before.
Huhm.........
