Default Hunt for the next bird starts now!

I think it’s time to find the next bird! I hope the new year is treating everyone well!

Most likely getting back into a 292 or 311 SR1, 1987-1990. Would love to buy my old one back but it’s a far fetched dream. May even entertain a few 272’s.

I don’t believe I’m ready to ditch the classic lines for a Fastech.

Couldn't agree more Josh. The styling and quality of their boats were fantastic during this era. Good luck & happy hunting!

This one looks promising. I'd call call Bay Performance, in North East, MD, that shows to have done the latest engine work. Not a fan of POP Yacht myself. Boat seems to have been on the market for at least a year.

My 292 will be for sale when I can afford/justify a 2020 310 BR OB. (5-7 yrs I'm guessing)
Just dropped 2 new base engines in it as the last 350s failed compression on each.

I love the lines of my 292, but it's clearly been built for going fast and has zero storage, which would weigh you down!

We can usually be found near Essex, MD. How far up the choptank can you go? Looks like a fun trip.

Nice archive footage! And it makes me feel a little feel knowing that these things have porpoised since brand new. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong.

Isn't that POP Yachts boat for sale at $39k or something?

Hey Josh... Any luck with that boat we talked about? She looks really sweet!

I don’t have any affiliation with this boat or the sellers. Just saw the classic bird and it’s close to me as well. Thought I’d simply pass it along.
