Two of the longest years ever! My 292 is living it up down in Jacksonville FL of a very respectable Formula fanatic.

Easy there now lol. If my wife saw this before me she would’ve said let’s off it haha. Jk I’m not sure what I wanna do with it as I’m still finishing it up and trying to get back in the water since the last time was the end of the 2017 season. I will think about it. I have a number. Just not sure if I wanna start over again haha. But you never know maybe.

have you gotten yours wet yet? Any plans for the future with it?

HAHA! I've been there before. We put 10 hours on it last weekend, ran about 275 Gallons of gas through it, and loved every minute of it. At one point, we were cruising over 2-3 Chop with white caps at ~55 MPH sipping our cocktails. Definitely a fun boat in the slop, a tad boring in the calm flats, but comfortable nonetheless. Coming from a 223LS and a 292SR1, it is a considerable difference in handling/operating this bird. The transmissions are a nice feature, no clunking and smooth docking transitions. Maxed out with a light load, I believe I saw 63.1 MPH @ ~5,100 RPM on the GPS screen but need to go back and confirm. The port motor did suffer from a spark plug separating from the base while headed back to the dock but I ended up installing 16 new plugs for good insurance on Monday.

This week is all about cleaning her up and getting some wax on her, it was clean enough to take out when I picked it up but not the best so going to throw some elbow grease at it.

Looking forward to the next trip out, no plans for the boat this year unless someone brings a nice cash offer for her! Otherwise, over the winter will be stereo, lights, and ST platform removal.
