Thats a bummer. Gotta love when its a solid boat no issues turn key ready to go. Then you get there and its nothing but a project

I’ve got a 90 272 . Only reason I’m thinking of selling is wife wants a SS. Problem free boat. Runs mid 60’s trimmed all the way out. I’ve put 40 hours on it since May. I’m taking it on a few 100 mile runs each way the next month if I still have it. One from Michigan to Wisconsin. I have that much faith in it. Has a few small cracks in the rear seat. I’m asking 25. I’m willing to entertain offers.

Hunter I am on the road now to look at the first of the three I sent you last PM.
I'll keep you posted. This is only 120 miles from home. I thinking least desirable of the three.
There is two clean looking 292’s on Craigslist in Maine.

Ya I think a lot of people have a different idea of what “ turn key” means. If it starts and goes in gear doesn’t mean turn key. My daily driver starts and drives well, but is a pos and something I wouldn’t call turn key 😂.
there is a 292 on Craigslist in Peabody,ma the owner describes as immaculate and is priced at $35,000 .
there is a 311 in New Hampshire for what seams like a real good price at $20,500 but I wouldn’t be surprised if that one was rough
