Ran it for a bit yesterday. Does anyone know what the 454 mag is rated for WOT? I’ve read conflicting info online. I spun the 25 Mirage to about 4200 yesterday and that was 64mph. Light chop two adults and a full tank of fuel. Wondering how that would compare to mirage plus 23 at around 4800?

25’s are what they came out of the factory with atleast that’s what mine came from with from factory. Granted mine is a 89 I would still think they would be the same. And I would only think that 23s would have a higher rpm but lower mph.

Something is off here, you should be getting some more RPMs out of the Mags. Usually 4800-5000 depending on conditions and props. Bone stock, I would think 4800 RPM should be the target.

My 25 mirage on a twin 330 272 gets me 4600 maybe 47 with a super lite load at 67. I thought about trying to get 5000 out of it but they have 900 hours on stock motors with good compression and super low oil consumption so I don’t want to push my luck ha.

I need to see what it will do with less fuel. I was running at 4200-4300 with 125 gallons...

Can't help with the question but where are you? We need to get the twins together.

Anyways the hour meter reads 600 and I think that’s accurate. Always freshwater. Right now it spins to 4200 with 25 Mirages... wondering if new ignition components will help that. Someone also converted it to electric fuel pumps and the whole setup seems anemic... will probably swap your Holley reds or blues during the off season. I don’t think many of these were built with magnums? Coming from the 223 with a single 454/330 this boat is very dependent and sensitive to tab input. Still learning but having fun. Also I forgot just how silent the ST platform was!

Not sure they are Bravo 1’s with 454 Magnum decals.
