Does your boat have the hook in the hull? I believe that is the difference.

Went out today after the throttle cable adjustment and happy to say the boat finally seems dialed in. Think I need to replace the sending unit for the fuel gauge as I'm positive this run was done with at least over 1/2 tank of fuel. Interested to see if I can pick up a mph or two running on fumes... that being said the boat is definitely quick enough for my purposes and at or above where it should be based on what I've seen on here and from other hooked 272 owners.

Had a great weekend with the boat. Burned about 40 gallons in an afternoon... has me thinking I may want to prop it down for more efficient cruise speed. It's always something!

Any idea how much distance you traveled? Lots of stop and go?

Where are you guys finding these boats? That dash looks like a brochure photo. Really great boat man

Doing some quick measuring with google maps it looks like we did about 35-40 miles. 6-7 stops along the way and a couple of 30-second WOT pulls.

Not bad really!
