Hi all. My 02 353 still has its thunder box in place. I actually don't mind it and on the lakes I run it actually keeps me off the radar, One of the brackets that attaches to the transom and the underside of the box is cracked. I hear this is not uncommon. I would like to replace it but wonder if the two screws that affix it to the box can be removed with the box in place , or if they have fasteners on the backside. I prefer not to drop the box to replace the bracket, but that may be necessary depending on the answer. Thanks

Anyone who has removed a box or removed and replaced a thunder box, do you know if the angle support brackets can be removed with the box in place? Thanks
