Default 1988 311 shore power and refrigerator questions

Wondering if someone can tell me how the shore power works. I bought a 30 amp adapter to 15amp outlet to see if I could try out the shore power. I flipped the 1st breaker which is battery charger and the red light didn’t come on. Flipped the 2nd breaker for the fridge and that didn’t do anything either. Not tripping breakers but nothing appears to happen. If I flip the 3rd & 4th breaker on I just get a loud buzzing noise but that’s about it. I did get the outlets in the cabin to work for a second. As far as the 2nd question is the fridge supposed to work on 12v & 120v and if it does work on 12v how do you turn it on? Just trying to get all the little things working if possible. Big jump up from my 242 I had. I love this new boat so far. Only had it out once so far and what a difference

I think you have something funky going on with the inverter/charger.

I think so too. I’m going to pull out the panel and see if all the wiring looks ok. Then check with the manufacturer to see if they still have any replacement parts. I also have to pull the fridge and see if the wiring is good or not. Doesn’t work on 12v or 110v. But not expecting much from a 34 year old fridge. It probably needs to be replaced

The Fridge in my 357SR1 still works, only tried on 12V though. Haven’t tried the shore power yet.
