There are so many variables I’m not sure how you could call BS with so much enthusiasm. There’s years of threads on here with guys discussing 80-86 from a 353 and 525s in fresh water. Seems to be a good number of guys played with props and got into the mid 80s.

Stock power makes a big difference in top speeds fact is on you tube watch it thanks! And yes 525's Bad monkey you still have your 353? id argue your setup is worse for a hull than a trailer given a trailer fully supports the hull (if setup right) with more surface area…which means less force per sq inch. thus less potential damage to hull. But hey…I’m no physicist.

Nice docking job. pretty little Flemish coil on the dock and horrible actual docking/line use. But yea, I love my boat's transom/swimplatform hitting the dock.

Mine lives on a lift above the water all summer and on a trailer inside all winter. Winter is no fun :(.

A Bumper? WTF is a bumper on a boat?. You can't tie up your boat correctly, you don't know what things are called, you have a 353 Sport yet claim to know how fast a Merc racing powered boat is, based off a claimed "expert" on some test. Multiple people, including me, that have or have had 353's with Blue motors tell you the speed and yet you still post garbage. I'm beginning to not even believe that you have a boat.

And yes that 353 with 496's ran 78 mph. The GPS picture is pretty clear. I talked to Max about it and it does run that speed. If you want to know the RPM and props, call them.

When did anyone claim 85-90? a 353 with 600's will run that, but not a 525 boat and no one said it would.

are you referring to the boat test video of the 2012 353 w 525s? Where he says with 3/4 fuel and 3 people it hit 80.5? Just based on that 85 is possible with labbed wheels and boxes. That capt clearly isn't very familiar with the boat either as he states there's no access to the bow from the cockpit. Guess he figured the top of the glove box is ribbed for her pleasure.

Got my SEA-DOO GPS to log like 74 one time that way lol. left the key on.

If someone wants to cheat its easy driving around. On the water you can't unless you are running with the current on a river. Pick a good river and you can gain a bunch. If I wanted to cheat it would have been a much higher number. A bit hard to hold a GPS and drive the boat There are way to many people with 353's with blue motors that run the same speeds. OFFSHOREJOJO just doesn't like the real numbers because his boat "only" runs 70+ with 250 less HP.
