I beg to disagree.....
See, I have the interwebs and I know things. The only water on Earth that can cause damage like that is Haulover Inlet. And if it happened at Haulover, there is video out there somewhere.
Haulover is a dangerous place, the only body of water known to break an Apache (the Chuck Norris of powerboats).

Settle down John Adams never claimed to be expert as some do? Nice boats with creature comforts but not fast or built very well carry on! Glad to see me mentioned in posts thanks! I understand winter & covid & egos are on the line

Looks like a classic case of dip**** captain to me. He’s lucky no one was hurt or worse. Something bad always finds guys that operate like that. No pleasure boat is designed to have its entire weight come crashing down on a non running surface from who knows what height

watch the cigarette video in haulover that shattered the back of its occupants. Broke bones…yet the boat was fine.
if the boat is in good condition and hasn’t been beaten to death repeatedly; it should stand up to big air and awkward landings.
id put money on apaches, cigs, etc over these high production boats. Having owned a formula and a cig; the difference in quality is obvious.

It was probably dropped from a helicopter.
