I replaced the strainers on my 382 with hardin marine. The factory strainers were mounted low on the side of the stringers. They had multiple thumb screws to remove lid. Totally not good. Key west, running fast, sea grass, really hot engine room, hot sunny day. Stop and clean strainers hunched over in front of hot engines....so.. I mounted the new strainers higher and off to the side so I could clean them without crawling over the back seat and into engine room. Use a single hand screw lid removal style strainer. Way easier and turns a ordeal into a easy 5 minute stop......
