Looking for a formula 312

Agree on performance, however I have heard the 292 can be tough to get on plane full of fuel and people. We have a family of 4 and will have a fair amount of gear with having kids. We also live on a chain of lakes so we are on and off plan ALOT. Thtas why i was leaning towards having the torque of the big blocks to pop up on plane easier. Id be interested in the info on you boat though.

I can definitely tell the difference between a fully loaded boat or just 2 passengers, but haven't had any trouble getting on plane even with a full tank, 4 adults and 4 kids on board. 4 adults no problem at all. A packed boat I will put the tabs down, otherwise don't usually bother. All that being said I have driven my friends 312 with 502s and it does pull out of the water better, and has a few MPH on me.

My 292 with the lowely 350s planes just fine with 4 + Cargo. just drop the tabs to speed it up, or don't if you're lazy.
The 312 I think is more rare, and yes has bigger engines though
Whatever you get, make sure to have full hydro steering!

Here is a link to the ad back when it was sold by the original owner circa 2009... Thanks powerboat listings for never taking anything down. 2005 292 Fastech It now has I believe around 600hrs on it so has some more wear and tear, but has been well cared for. Always been a freshwater boat. Has a bimini top with full camper canvas, cockpit and mooring cover. PM me with any other questions.
