Anyone have a list for conversion to leds ? Installing new cables now and would be nice to go ahead and do the swap ....
Also a good source? Thanks ... m

Glen, have you done the gauge ones by chance? Finally checked them out the other night and Jesus.. talk about dim. But I guess the factory vdo gauges don't have dial faces that light up, it's the surrounding part? I'm assuming the LED's help?

No I have not. New gauges=new bulbs=no LEDS, yet.

When Distantthunder had his 292 SR1, were talking about replacing these because they were so dim. If memory serves correctly, we couldn't find an LED replacement for the VDO type A or type B bulb. You might be able to find a LED bulb that will push into the place where the plastic base mates with the gauge. The originals are like 2w or 4w. It's possible that the bulbs are tired and new ones will wake up the gauges. LEDs would be best if you can make something work.

My 1988 Formula 311 cabin courtesy looks like the above 1142 will work (see below) BUT the cabin floor bulbs do not look like mine (see below).
Can anyone confirm:
1) 1142 will work and
2) what will work for my floor lighting
